Gibson LG-2 1949 demo my "holy grail" of flattops

Second upload of this guitar (this time I didn´t want to spoil its sound with my singing). The LG-2 is a magnificent tool, I don´t tend to be romantic concerning instruments but this old mahogany /spruce box is a special one. When I recieved it 6 years ago it sounded so sad - it scared my whole family. I played it for a year and this instrument changed my whole approach towards guitar playing. What a Beauty. P.S. no effects no eq nothing

@MidouBanChan EJ16 is my standard choice. But it could have been Galli Lucky Star as well. I used them for some time. But they are hard to find and not always awailable.

Whether what humans call "life" or not, everything has a spirit, some things like this guitar more obvious than others. Mahogany has turned into my favorite for back and sides, wonderful tone. Do you know if the bracing is scalloped? Sounds like this guitar has found a human willing to listen to her and the sounds she wants to make. Good job and enjoy your time together.

the bracing is not scalloped, the braces are high but not thick, very light and responsive construction.
