@l1lbadmonkey not much, but i do recommend tce 65mm TB

But the 3400 UIM doesn't flow as well as the 3500s wouldn't there be a drawback to doing this?
-
@competitionready where can i find one of these engines?
-
@l1lbadmonkey He has the external trigger on there. It just has the 3400 UIM to make the install easier.

wtf thats an LA1 3400 not an LX9 3500.

On the off chance you'll see this, did the LX9 make a decent difference performance-wise? I fully expect to either yank one entirely or to get the parts from WOT and I'm just trying to gauge what kind of gains I'm looking at.

@alexanderocks idk my brothers grand am se 3.4 has 170000 and still kickin good, its cause of the dexcool is why the gaskets get eaten away, he uses 50/50 antifreeze.

LX9 (3500) engines have better flowing heads, stronger internals (namely the forged crank with bigger journals), and have oil squirters on the #5 and 6 cylinders.
I'm curious if there's actually a difference in the way the engine growls between the 3400 im and the 3500 im. I've noticed the 3500 doesn't growl the same with an intake as the 3400 does. Might just be a slight change in design because the engine's are soooo similar.

@GM60degreeV6 I haven't noticed anything noticeable in the sound difference.
