  • thanks for the video...im thinking of going 100% raw food, but my biggest concern is how does one get enough Calcium on a raw diet..

    thanks

  • Lots of greens, sesame seeds, and chia seeds gives you lots of calcium. :-) So, no more worries for you!

    XOXOXO

  • So you shop at East End Food Co-op? I live near Peaceful Valley Ashram is there anywhere closer to shop for good fruits and vegetables?

    Thanks!

    Peace!

  • Yes, we shop at the food co-op. I don't know of any closer place for you to shop near the ashram. When I held a retreat at the ashram last year, I had to transport all of the food from the co-op, since I only buy organics.

    Sorry I'm not much help.

    Love,

    Wendi

    XOXOXO

  • what about calorie count ?????? for weight loss

  • Thanks for your comment, princessiam123! We enjoyed the outing, too. Maybe one day we'll meet you and we can all picnic together! ;-)

    XOXOXO

  • Lost8Wizard,

Yes, I am picky. I insist on eating only organics. Some fruits are listed as organic, but they really aren't truly raw (like mangoes (which are dipped in boiling water) and many papayas (which are GE fruits)).

Some fruits are listed as organic, but I can tell that they aren't. There's a taste/smell that can sometimes be detected on fruits. The most recent encounter I've had was with Dole pineapples. They smelled TOXIC and the taste/smell went all the way through the fruit. :-/

  • HippieMuffin! Have you ever been over to the Game Preserve? I feel bad that they are locked up, but we still enjoy going over to that area of South Park. to hang out. :-)

    *blows kisses*

  • Are you picky about buying foreign fruit?
