Laser de nitrógeno casero, electrodos de INOX de 360 milímetros de largo, separados 2 mm, voltage de 20Kv aprox, condensador grande de 11nF de transparencia de fotocopiadora A3. Excita el tinte de coumarin (no se el modelo) a más de 30 centímetros sin ninguna lupa, calculo una potencia de más de 30Kw con aire a presión atmosférica.

  • Yes, but the cilincrical lens is very expensive, and the lens normal is good. And with less distance the blue is more powerfull.

    I will publish a new laser with more power in a few days.

  • What you think, does $4 per piece is expensive?

    Look at google: surplusshed item l3271

    and you will found BK7 glass (not good as fused quartz, but, hey!) cylindric lens for only $4 or $15 for 5 pieces. It is worth buying!

  • try using a cilindrical lens like from a laser printer to focus the beam on the dye cavity. You'l get one hell of a dye laser ... more important it will be a blue laser (i love blue)
