@CometLol The lines are not grounded unless they are being worked on. THe static lines above which are at ground potential are for lightning protection. They dont have them on the west coast because there is little lightning.

I shot this video in Stratham, NH, not far from Portsmouth. This crew (same helicopter at least) has been working in the area for a few months now. They even made the cover of the Portsmouth Herald a few weeks ago. I hope they're very well paid!
