I have a lee enfield mk2 and the clip is detachable, as with most enfields ive seen

Pretty sure that it's just some, but perhaps all are as someone said for cleaning and maintenance and what not.

Went to a gun show this weekend (God bless America) and they were selling enfield magazines. Never seen em' for sale before! Interesting people still bring this up, I thought of that when I saw them.

you have a misconception yourself because in 01:46 you showed a .303 lee enfield smle to show and example of a fixed magazine but that particular rifle has a romovable 10 round magazine. many people think that it is fixed because you can top it up with stripper clips but this is not the case because you can actually load it by topping up the magazine with a srtipper clip while the magazine is still inserted into the rifle or you can replace the magazine with another full magazine

prove it to me that it is a detachable box magazine, i believe its a fixed magazine on the bottom that is non-detachable.

DUDE finally someone who i can agree with! i am joining the marines in a few years so i got myself into the habit of calling weapons, parts of weapons, etc. by their ACTUAL names! and it drives me nuts when people have no idea what their talking about and call it the wrong thing. if it sounds like im flaming your video im not im agreeing with it. nice vid man.

That is indeed correct.

Manypersons is unfortunately correct, it is detatchable. However it was found very expensive to give soldiers mags when you could give them simple stripper clips, so thats how it worked

Great video man, hopefully people will start taking your advice when posting videos. Also, for a fixed/internal magazine specifically for airsoft would be the cheap walmart rifles/SMG's that feed through the gravity well. Once again, thanks for the video and your video has been favorited!

Actually the Lee-Enfield did have the capability of a removable magazine which could be seated into the rifle with ammunition in it, although it was rare and normally detached for cleaning purposes only.
