  • gunnerfan87: You can indeed. First..send money! Go to our web site and click JOIN/DONATE. Second, keep an eye out for creationist activity in your local schools and local legislature. When we heard about Bill 44 a few years back, we consulted with many Canadian reporters about the creationist angle, what it meant, and how it could be beaten back. Someone teaching creationism/ID in a public school? Let us know! On our site, check out our Taking Action section.

  • newweaponsdc...the donation is welcome nonetheless! Every little bit helps....

  • GeauxTiger ...thanks for the kind thoughts. And joining? An excellent idea. just go to ncse.com, then click the Join/Donate button. You can join in a flash. --Robert Luhn

  • @GeauxTiger As a former Christian, I often wish that the money that I had given to Churches were given to the NCSE.

  • Creationism evolving?

    Oh the irony.

  • @disquisition73 If spontaneous generation did occur, we'd have to get rid of evolution all together. As for evolution being a religion, do you know the definition of "religion"? Evolution is most certainly not a religion. But you are correct, there is no evidence for spontaneous generation. Mind, isn't that what happened when the Abrahamic deity created life in that religious text?

  • If they care so much about "fairness" why don't they let the LGBT community have equal marriage rights?

  • @pjpopper the problem is you wouldn't be able to understand a real journal article without experience and learning in a top down process of the concepts and how the methodology is formed practiced, implemented over several or +years. All this babble. You seem to think that the breath of your knowledge is what scientists in this field or any have stagnated to. There are many examples you just choose not to learn. Science questions is hypotheses for weakness always. Most Christian groups accept it.

    *Ahem* anthropic principle.

  • @disquisition73

Spontaneous generation? i said fuck all about that. Look up miller urey.

  • Science based on fact.

    Religion based on fantasy.

  • @disquisition73

i thought you would make a natural progression onto evolution from that but obviously not.

    Larus gulls.

  • Pushing false revisionist science and history is the most pernicious from of proselytizing and a misuse of education.

  • These guys need some spin doctors
