Testing out my new Camcorder, the Panasonic SDR-S7.
Keep in mind, the footage is somewhat degraded from the original recording from the upload to Youtube and because I had to convert the MPEG2 file into an AVI file to get it to work in Windows Movie Maker.
Watch in High Quality.

alright, then the problem is the render in vegas somewhere along the line. Not sure how I can help you further, I myself had to experiment to get my videos to come out right. Just make sure the aspect ratio is correct for the render settings and try using the yt:stretch=16:9 tags to see if that fixes the video after the upload.

@MistaX8 When non edited video inport in vegas it get squished, but when i convert video in AVS converter in Mp4 file and then inport in vegas it isn't squished.

@stefy747
does the video show up squished in vegas or does it look normal in vegas and look squished after you render it?

@MistaX8 Yes it is widescreen, and i don't use panasonic software to output videos.

@stefy747
Oh, and to add to that, I forgot to ask. Are you using the panasonic software to output the files first? I have to use the software to output each file under "for use with other software" so that it's in a format vegas can recognize. Otherwise, it won't even look right in vegas, it'll be squished.

@stefy747
not sure, I've never used that resolution before. Is that in PAL or NTSC?
Also, I'm assuming it's supposed to be in widescreen?

@MistaX8 Ok thank you , i have Panasonic SDR-S26 whit recording resolution 720x576, and i have sony vegas pro 10, and i want to edit videos recorded whit this camera . How to my videos get out without being squished and to fit res on the youtube.?

@stefy747
720x480 for 16:9 and 640x480 for 4:3
To get my vids to come out without being squished in vegas though, I have to force the res to 856x480. Weird but it works.

What is the resolution of recording?

If I want my videos to start looking heavily washed out with hissy, tinny audio, then I'll start using my iPod Nano as well.
