Overpopulation: the mother of all problems ( part 1 of 2 )

The mother of all problems is human overpopulation, and runnaway population growth which continues unabated today. We fail to realize this growth is tied to food supply, that population always rises to meet food supply. We have almost no food reserve and a leveling out or drop in food production is likely to lead to world wide famine. We have the solutions, birth control, family planning and education but refuse to use them. If we don't change we are all likely to die horribly. Thousands per day already are dying and one in seven people is hungry.
That's a billion people out of seven billion, and they could go from hungry to starving to death with one poor harvest. When this happens and it will if we don't all change civilization will colapse, we would go back to the dark ages or possibly even extinct.

but we can all have self food supply and not destroying the enviroment if capitalism turns over, but as long as materialism exist, living life as we kwnow is condemned.

In one side of the world some are worried about overpopulation, here in my country they are worried about the aging population, and soo they beg for people to make more babys.

An hospital treats people cause its (good) at the exchange of toxic waste and more waste, so people can be healthy out there making more waste.

You donate food to starving people cause its (good) too.

Humans are full of good intentions with bad consequences.

It always confuses me though how all these people would preach in the first world about how there are to many people on the planet and not enough resources etc Yet Europeans as a race only make up about 8% of the worlds population and already have a below replacement level birth rate. Yet we keep doing everything in our power to keep the 3rd world alive and they keep breeding more and more??
