Wow, can you make a video of that 3 feet mandala with 12 folds?? This is a mixture between Origami and Mandala, and I love the simplicity of it all. I want to try this with other geometric forms and folds. If I am succesfull, I will make a video response. Thanks for sharing!

I'll bet ever one is different, no two alike, I would love to do this, what kind of paper is that anyways? Ohhhh, its canvas? I seeee, I think, we used to make something like it as kids, we would fold a paper in half, add water to watercolor paint then add big dots of paint in the center, then fold and smear and open, we loved it! Now i could make real ones! Thanks so much I can't hardly wait to try it out! Louella

Hello Louella
I once saw a girl making such butterfly-like paintings. She inspired me to make this technique more perfect. I started to do it on paper with acrylic paint and 2 folds. Later I made mandalas with 3 or 4 or more folds. But soon I found out paper was too weak. So I started to work on canvas. Later I found oil paint was more convenient as it would not dry so quickly. Now I even make mandalas 3 feet wide, with 12 folds. Please enjoy being an artist, Leo

I haven't done it intentionally. I put love, joy and beauty in the mandala and these are healing energies anyway. I invite you to have pure love and to do what your heart tells you to do.

Are it's possible to use Water-based color.?

@4mahmood
I never used water-based color. maybe you will find something special when using it. I tried to use paper, but after I folded it a few times, I would tear it apart.
