  • can you hook a midi keyboard to this?

  • @oneguyincalifornia no MIDI, just audio in (!!) and out.

  • @Moogulator - thanks for the info...audio in?

Now, are you saying that I can run different sound sources in and use it as a filter type of effect?

  • @oneguyincalifornia true, sort of a filter box with LFO since it does not seem to have envelopes. I did not have the chance to check that but saw them demoing later and it works.

  • Korg seems to be the only japanese synth manufacturer left that actually makes interesting synths and effects, seems like most manufacturers only produce analogue-mimicking vst-plugins in plastic cases these days.. Its not that I hate VA or anything but its nice to see that some companies still care about making new analogue gear.

  • @narki86 I'm using a lot of their stuff, most of it isn't perfect - I'd still love to have Vel.Pads on the Electribes, but in fact most of it is very musical (at least to me), I am not the claassical player but I agree with you. I still use some analog/modular synths or sample those for live, so tribes and stuff sound better on stage. but it's also the synths and products they make, I really liked the microstation, I'd just hesitate for the slow LFOs, not very KORG.could be nice for small jams

  • @narki86 I don't think that's true of Dave Smith Instruments. Their models may not include VCO's, but they're definitely analog. Then again, the two analog polys I own are Roland JX synths, rather than ones with VCO's. It may not be the same for me.

  • I'd have so much fun making music with this!!! *drool*

  • DS-10 MS-10の次は
