MSX2 Shoot-'em-up. The programmers in Taito Corp. didn't use the software sprite. Why?? They use 32 hardware sprites alternately only, and it makes this game three times harder.

  • I'd imagine it being a little bit easier to see on an actual system, like 2600 Pacman.

  • I do seem to recall that this game was called "Tokio" when it was in the U.S.. I also was lucky to have played this game at least once.

  • Tokio kicked ass! (That's what I come to know this game as.)

  • The flickering of those sprites give me a stroke. I can imagine it is three times harder to play with brain damage.
