  • I can only just now watch. It was my heart.

  • i just got back from bolivar...its a lot better now...but theres hardly any houses that were not damaged...almost all of them have new wood... :(

  • I am sure this will be rebuilt. It is hard now, but progress is hard to keep down. Our thoughts are with them all in their rebuilding efforts.

  • God is great and powerful, as we can see. The sky over Bolivar is dark, and even the sun has been blocked out, as this video shows.

And for you doubters, keep your satanic thoughts to yourself. This is the AP who posted this, so there is no denying that even agents of the devil have video which proves that the sun doesn't shine if God doesn't want it to.

Repent or go to hell while all the christians and the baby jesus just laugh and laugh and live happily ever after, praising the name of god.

  • I stayed in High Island during Ike and the eye wall is crazy. 12 hours of nonstop pounding wind. 4 of us had to hold a sliding glass patio door from blowing in and taking the roof off of the house that I was staying in. High Island was just that an island for a week.

  • i live in galveston county texas 30 minutes from glaveston 15 hours before the storm water was up to homes my house was fine (exept for some roof damage) but we were very lucky if uve ever been in a hurricane u no what the eye wall is like u no 120 mph winds all that good stuff thats what ike was like o and the eye is amazing totaly calm but i got a head ach from low prusser but see u guys late bye b safe!!!1

  • I was there last weekend. we are fortunate enough to have a cabin that from the 70's that has survived the surge, although it was flooded and shaken quite a bit.besides the loss of the lives of some that were trapped in the surge, the massive debris down there is a real tragedy for the area. There is no telling what kind of environmental damage has been done by all the human debris now littering and contaminating the landscape.

  • So sad! Just awful! It's heartbreaking. I wish I could do see it. I would help clean up on the weekends. I would do whatever I could to help you people on Bolivar!

  • tenas :O

  • We were there a month ago, it is kind of erie to see all the damage that was caused.

We were also in Galveston the same weekend and we visited that gift shop on the ocean. That is no longer there.
