tibetan buddhists believe lots of crazy things that buddha never said, or they grossly misunderstand that a lot of the things buddha talked about were specific to a certain person asking a certain question about a specific set of circumstances at a specific time, and they most of the time miss that a lot of what buddha talked about were metaphors for things.

No, not at all. I was only pointing out that people like Dalai-lama have said that body is only a clothing and mind leaves its clothes when they get old. And many tibetan buddhists present this as standart buddhist teaching even though Buddha insisted the oneness of body and mind.

...and so what? Are you implying that they ought to believe something simply because it's alleged that the Buddha said so?
