Is this some miraculous image of the Jesus himself, or a very carefully done forgery. Barrie Schwortz who was the official photographer on the 1978 study of the shroud thinks this is the real thing. I'm not saying that I believe the shroud to be authentic but did you know that E Cayce described Jesus as a man 5'10" tall, about 170 lbs with long hair and beard.

I studied alot about this cloth and i am convinced it is the buriel shroud of Jesus..And this is definately an authentic relic...I really have little doubts about it considering all the research i've done with it....Wow! I think there is further evidence pointing to Jesus being the image on the shroud, such as the coins that had been placed on the eyelids (just detectable on the image). Apparently, the coins point to the time of Jesus. In addition, writings have recently been detected written in Aramaic and Greek indicating Jesus.

There is no evidence of resurrection. The image may have been produced by chemical reaction between the corpse and cloth (e.g. vaporized amines). If so, it should be reproducible.

Well, about a year ago I got suddenly curious: is the shroud of Turin is a fake or it is a true identical one of Jesus Christ. I prayed and I got an answer in the way it often goes. The answer was: it is not a fake, it is a real one. So, I got the answer without any scientific research but it is good to hear that scientific research confirms my source of information, a Bible. I am scientist myself and Bible helps me in my private life as well as in my research.
