Agree that Ann Arbor is not the counterpart to Manchester in the late 70's and early 80's.

Detroit was at a similar level of decrepitude as Manchester at that time, and since then Detroit has exceeded Manchester in terms of decrepitude. Sorry to offend any Detroiters out there, but the truth is plain to see.

Yea.. great.. great..song. I guess we would have to agree to disagree. . This song just screams joy division to me.. New Order is Awesome but the song n lyrics only remind me of Curtis and Joy Division. Cheers! !
