Ash isn't blamed for the murder of his friends in Evil Dead 1....is he?

@boydman117 What I mean is, his friends were murdered in Evil Dead 1 and accused of killing them in the game. The storyline is a bit confusing since they couldn't/didn't use footage from the first film at the beginning of the second. Thus, I stand by my statement that Evil Dead 2 is more of a re-imaging then a true squeal. Also, the fact that at the beginning of the Evil Dead 2 he goes to the cabin only with his girlfriend and not with his friends.
