Suns - Celtics (03.02.11)

The new-look Boston Celtics cruised for the majority of the night in their debut in front of the home crowd with a convincing 115-103 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Kevin Garnett led the charge with a scorching 28 points and 14 rebounds for his sixth straight double-double, pacing Boston as they built an early double digit lead which grew to 29 in the third quarter.
Phoenix made the score respectable late with an 18-0 run, to keep the game within reach in the fourth, but Boston's immense cushion proved to be too much for the Suns to overcome as they never got closer than eight. Paul Pierce (16 points, 13 rebounds) and Rajon Rondo (16 points, 15 assists) both chipped in double-doubles for the victors. Aaron Brooks had 17 points off the bench to lead Phoenix, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.

wanted to see garnett get into it with gentry and the suns bench..
