@Streetmastaalex First off, your comment is contradicting, because if the streets are NOT peaceful ( like you suggest by sarcastically using SUPPOSEDLY ) then why would you NOT want a firearm with you for protection? Second of all, the 2nd Amendment isn't about duck hunting, it's about retaining the people's ability to - IF ALL ELSE FAILS - throw out a growing tyrannical government. I seem to recall the Founder's having just done so before writing the Constitution - amazing!

Can you purchase an aftermarket butt stock with out a pistol grip?

I do not know. The Browning BAR buttstock should fit perfectly, but check with FNH on that.
