puzzzzzzzz.....then it flies away

Haha, does a face plant before taking off!

@freakymovielover It looks dead because they cannot walk with their feet. They only use their feet to stand on small branches, etc. Even if they want to move 1 inch down a branch they have to fly. :)

One time I saw a small bird hit the window at my house and it just sat there where it landed so I picked it up and held it in the palm of my hand just like you did and eventually it flew away.
I called the vet and they said that was the best thing to do, as the warmth from your hand is enough to get them feeling good again!

that bird uses a UFO engine lol

like during the Rainbow years ? one for all and all for one ( sorry, that was Dumas .. )? What a nice thing for you to have had the chance to rescue that creature and to film it..

Bless be your hands

That's amazing that you got the chance to hold a humming bird. The poor thing looked dead at first, I was really relieved to see it fly away. Great video!

It was a miracle! The day before, I was flying to NY and while almost getting readuy for landing we were told we have to return home... So sad... but next morning I rescued a minuscule "frequent flyer." Thank You.

In the hummingbird world they don't have "her/him/it" (she told me).

You could not tell you're holding it! It's lighter than air or a poetry rhyme. I still can't believe it! Thank you for your post.
