Most Iranians would view your statement that domination by Western oil interests is preferable to Iranian nationalism of the Mullahs as nothing short of traitorous. Iranians have the right to own and control the oil and to defend themselves from foriegn domination.

#1: The oil (and benefits from the sale of it)belongs to the Iranian people - not the foreign western oil cartels. No one else has the right to control of it.

#2: The Iranian people spoke loudly and clearly when they made the revolution of 1979 and overthrew the western domination of the Shah.

#3: thousands killed by the Mullahs isn't backed up by any facts. The Mullahs have undoubtedly killed many of their opponents, but not even close to the numbers you suggest here.

You will need to organize and make a revolution from within Iran to overthrow the Mullahs and establish your own grass roots democracy. Believe me, if the US attacks Iran, it will mean the destruction of your country and the deaths of millions of people. ASK THE IRAQIS what it's like to be invaded and occupied by the US "democracy".

I'm sypathetic to the national aspirations of all oppressed peoples. Radical Islam isn't the way forward either, but if you think the western (US)"democracies" are going to offer anything but exploitation of your natural resources and degradation of the Iranian people, ask your Grandfathers what it was like under the Shah. Better yet ask the Palestinians or the people of Latin America. They know well the 'boots on the neck' of US economic and foreign policy.

The Iranian's are amazingly peaceful, especially towards the US, considering the US history of interference in Iran. They have no more desire to kill Americans than the British.
