Andrew Cohen attended an event in Santa Monica, CA, that might be historically unprecedented.
Calling themselves "The 3 Gurus," Master Charles Cannon, Swami Chetanananda, and Swami Shankarananda are three American teachers of enlightenment in the Kashmir Shaivism lineage of the renowned 20th-century Hindu masters Bhagawan Nityananda and his disciple Swami Muktananda (who was the guru of the 3 Gurus). Teaching independently for years, the three have recently banded together to form a holy alliance of potentially unparalleled transformative power. After all, if just one guru or "destroyer of darkness" is a living, breathing, walking and talking death threat to the miserly human ego, then encountering three of them together is ... well, probably three times as liberating.
After a successful evening presentation, the 3 Gurus were joined onstage by Andrew for a compelling hour-and-a-half-long public dialogue. Here, they proceeded to discuss everything from the technical distinction between a "spiritual teacher" and a "guru" to the rather inhospitable environment for gurus that our secular postmodern context presents. Everyone was invigorated and excited by the conversation, and at the end, someone even suggested that maybe someday soon we'll be seeing "The 4 Gurus" hitting the teaching circuit!
wtf are they on about ,i think its streaching things to call these guys gurus. they all obviously have gurus . I wouldnt call my meditatation teacher a guru .They sound a bit patronising. I think its sad that these guys have discipels. Jesus Buddha yogananda. Ramana Maharshi. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi . Ekharte Tolle etc but not this bunch please.

@1958boomergirl it is the extinction of what was never true in the first place: that these thoughts and emotions are you or have anything to do with who or what you are which is actually total Love, Peace, Joy, Awareness

If by "integrated wholeness" you mean optimum emotional & physical health, then that's incredibly good. If, however, you mean extinction, then I don't want "integrated wholeness" at all. :(

Why can we not respect the efforts of such beings who are trying to inspire, uplift and benefit humanity? Why do some create more road blocks from them and respect all who are working in light? If people are receiving benefit then why bring such negative comments in an already negative, mixed world? Can we just not appreciate the efforts in light of those attempting to serve others? Thanks

My wish is for peace and true happiness for every one of you and if you don't agree with me then that's not my problem! If I chastise you for your beliefs I'm only strengthening the walls of my own prison. I'm not telling anybody how to be, but lovingly suggesting you try compassion, EVEN towards people on youtube videos and people on youtube comments walls! We're all in this together!!! HA HA HA ... love, peace and freedom from fear.

Haha it's hilarious reading the comments and watching everybody argue about who's the most spiritual and who has the most truth! My way to see the world is not the same as yours and never can be because I have a different perspective. BUT I don't have to agree with you in order to love you! I want to support you and allow you to find your own way in the world, and I find that by doing that I am allowing myself to do the same.

the problem here is that these characters are half baked gurus, not really on the platform of a guru.
Andrew Cohen is not "enlightened"
So this is gibberish.
