Slavery--the legality of one human OWNING another human as a piece of PROPERTY--is reprehensible to anybody who professes to believe that every human has a soul. The legalization (canonization) of slavery thus makes the idea of the US as a Christian nation into a sham.
I read a description about him in one of my history book but they didn't have the whole story. The first time i read bout him I was So interested. I've got to watch this. I heard he was stolen, not sold(is that true?) And also he returned to Africa after few years of getting his freedom(is that true also?) I seriously have to watch this. I'm so mad i missed it. Is it going to air in PBS again?

It's also uplifting to hear that the whole time during this trail he remained steadfast and didn't give up faith, it's a reminder to us all.
Slavery is just as bad wether it happens to a prince or a peasant.
