Oh how I love this song!! My grandpa, 100% a Scotsman though having spent more than 75 years in Argentina, used to sing it in a loud voice whenever thoughts from long ago came to his mind. He passed away 2 years ago at the age of 95. Now more than ever this song sends shivers down my spine remembering how he would tell us tragic or sometimes funny stories from past times. Sweet memories...
