  • Great vids. Thanks for posting. What song is this, please?

  • Love your video and your Mum's adorable! I am going to try this method. I have quite a few jeans that I would love to wear again. Thank- you!

  • Great instruction aside, I find the very beginning cute: you both seem to supply the same life and prettiness from your respective age group - looking so similar and all. Goes to show some people can kind of glow at every stage of life.

  • Thanks for this video, I just set up my friend's brand new sewing machine so I could fix my jeans using this technique. The repair looks very sturdy, so thanks for a useful video!

  • Very professional work & presentation

Can you show us how to patch a big hole in the crotch area? It's no joke...I got a very nice pair that 's a waste that got torn apart in the middle area

    Plz help!

  • @sim0b Just learn how to sew yourself! Geesh..

  • Good video. When I patch/darn denim I use either a paper towell or a dryer sheet as my backing. Then It is much easier to trim or tear off the excess. I also use a 3 step zigzag which makes three little stitches in each zig instead of just one. It makes a nice flat stitch that really anchors the two edges together.

If you can catch a rip before it is huge, you can use a wide 3 step zig zag without a backer and just sew the edges right back together with a nearly invisible seam.

  • This was very helpful. I like how unnoticeable the stitches are. You guys are really cute. I'll have to try this out. How long did this take?

  • @dustythebob i have a rip in mine too. i need a women who can sew.
