What is Soulgasm?

The Soulgasm Party started in NYC with "The Wizard" Brian Coxx and dance legend, Ejoe Wilson along with prominent NYC promoter Redness Hayes. Through a mutual passion for house music, dance and vibes, Soulgasm Hawaii was born. Lyanne Brooks and her school, Housing Project 360 heads and organizes all Soulgasm Hawaii events and other related events. Since then it has become the place for house, funk and soul music culture in Hawaii. We aspire to bridge the roots of the house culture to the past, present, and future generations. Reaching out and bridging to other places and parties from around the world through urban music, dance culture and art.


What is house?

House is strongly influenced by elements of soul and funk infused with varieties of disco music. It is often referred to as today's dance music.

When is it?

Our monthly Soulgasm party is a place where people gather, let loose, have fun, enjoy good music and vibes. We encourage dance through the form of self-expression in how you interpret house music. Our party happens every 3rd Friday of the month. It goes from 9pm till 2am.


Where is it?

Soulgasm is now located at our brand new venue, Thirtyninehotel. The venue is located between Bar 35 and Nextdoor on North Hotel Street. Renowned for their famous cocktails and martinis, Thirtyninehotel also houses the legendary sound system of David Mancuso. Ripped directly from the legendary NYC underground club "Loft" in New York City, the sound system boast audio supremacy through the use of classic analog sound technology.
