Hey man, i cannot afford photoshop, and my trial has ran out, what software do you reccomend i get? Someone said gimp but idk :/

@JamezCraft Gimp can do a good deal of editing and it is a streamlined program with a more simple interface which requires less computer power. The old "Photoshop Vs. GIMP" discussion is all over google searches, but personally I dont think you need to compare them. For basic editing actions you can probably find hundreds of programs that will work. Invest in Photoshop only when you know why you need it, otherwise GIMP should work for most purposes.

I and a few others are currently in the process of making an anti-abusive relationship infomercial using stop motion frames. We needed some bloody/scared effects in Photoshop and we all concluded this was by far the best effect. Fantastic tutorial - clear, concise and really easy to follow. 5/5

I do recommend using an pen and tablet for this, but it can be done fairly successfully with a mouse as well.
