hey, I have an onkyo receiver also. Will I able to plug this headset into the single optical out the onkyo has?

@cspek You should be able to. I have an Onkyo receiver too and it works fine. The thing is, I have my Trittons hooked directly up to the PS3 but I switch back and forth between the headset and the speakers I have set up for when I record gameplay.

@ragnsan5 Get the Pro headset if you can afford them. They should fit no problem but they take some getting used to. Now, they're the most comfortable pair of headphones I've ever used

The ax720 is a great headset. the sound quality was great. but i had to see how much better the Tritton AXPRO was, and they are a lot nicer than the ax720. The price difference for the AXPRO is worth the price. (4 speakers in each ear) Front, Center, Rear and Sub-woofer. You can control the volume of each channel separately as well as the sound/time delay front/rear. If you are considering the AX720, and can afford the more expensive AXPRO, it is worth every penny. AXPRP is full 5.1.

Some people don't realize that when they say "get a life" or "stop playing cod and get a job" that this Guy is about the age of the people MAKING the game. Im 110% positive that 15 year olds don't make games. Atleast he's of age to be playing. I would rather listen to this guy then a bitchy squeaker 10 year old on live.

i bought the Ax Pros for $179 great sound. very customizable settings.

It's simulated 5.1 so it is surround sound but not true surround sound!
