Clockwork Orange playing at Mabels in Champaign, IL late 80's.
Michael "Ozzy" Husler - Lead Vocals/Guitar
Ed "Buzzy" Eselby - Drums/Vocals
Andy Baylor - Lead Guitar/Vocals
Peter Bailey - Bass Guitar/Vocals

The local beloved band Clockwork Orange had it all, looks, lyrics, luster and a four part killer harmony. Not only could they write great music and sing it but they are all very proficient with their instruments. This was s a great band who forged their way through to be the number one band in their area with hundreds to thousands of fans.

  • Then they were the greatest metal cover band to get Led zepped we shared stage with this band also their company , Great 80s, Wwooooooo!

  • I rendell then the drummer for Catfish and Carter, attened many of their shows as they attened ours, We won Battle of the bands there 1988 as a R&B band , and yes they were a great Zepp cover band I grew up playing hardrock mostly Zepp tunes today i still do metal just Christian metal Led Zepp was then my favorite band . I and the guitarist Andy Baylor use to kick it at the bar but i never drink never will. He thought it was funny i think actually being a metalhead drummer in a R&B band

  • wow i stumbled across this and glad i did they are really good

  • @fweekstir

YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw em do that at Spare Time Lanes in Decatur back in 1990....FK me to TEARS, it sounded better than the Bullet Boys' version!!

  • I remember these guys VERY well!! They were from Decatur, Il. originally---at least, that's where they practiced and played at primarily. Any way, as a young singer/guitarist myself, CWO were a major inspiration to me,,,,,They were absolutely the BEST Zep cover band I've ever seen!!!

  • I used to love going to mabels with my friend Tim. Happened to type in Clockwork Orange and this popped up.Good memories.

  • Love Clockwork! My favorite band from the 80's, never missed seeing them once I was old enough to get in to Mabels!

  • i forgot how much ass you guys kicked!!!!

  • Their bullet boys version of money was awesome.
