Hi-UX 3050R is a legacy Unix machine by
Hitachi. Although the availability
of this system was not so popular,
the boot sequence was well-known
because funny behavior of the mole.
If I had a sound device, I could
record Hitachi song "この木なんの木",
but I didn't have.

In comparison with Hi-UX 2050,
the system base was moved from raw
SysV to HP-UX. Also CPU was upgraded to
PA-RISC (although original Hi-UX 3050
had used m68k).

  • I wonder if it would be possible to get this system ROM working on a PA-RISC emulator...
