Please stop commenting shit about the speed. Chopin wrote Largo on this, and this means a tempo beetween 45-50 BPM. This is around 48, calculated myself. Thanks.

I usually love Rubenstein, why is this so fast?

@natalie p - I've heard various performences, mostly with c minor there, but there where some exepcions. I like both versions fine, play c minor myself, but still with some hesitation.

I love the tempo, playing this prelude slower totally kills it.

BPM = 66 [Check], c Major in bar 3 [Check]. So what's the problem? He plays the orginal version.

At :17, that chord is supposed to be c minor, not c major...because I have the sheet music and I listened to another recordin to confirm, but its rubinstein, so im confused

Because it is a march and not a dirge? Beautiful feeling in this performance. I like it more every time I hear it.

Way too fast! Played this in all the conservatories. Unacceptable! Although he is great this could be better! This is supposed to be one of the greatest. It still better than most can do! Some think it is easy. Well think again, it is not!
