@blazingswrd Wrong. All of the other iPhones and even the iPad have 256MB of RAM... iPhone 4 will be the first to have 512MB... iPad and iPhone 3Gs are going to run multitasking with 256MB just fine even though iPhone and iPhone 3G have 256 as well.

i love how every year iphone releases "new" updates to the phone...yet you can just crack your iphone and get all the goodies.
