It is beautifully antiqued by the maker with a honey-brown spirited oil varnish, to replicate rare violins made by the old masters. Tonally, it plays with a brilliant, vibrant and rich sound and it carries an excellent complexity and variety of nuances. With a robust power and projection, this fine soloist instrument has a very quick response, it articulates well and it is incredibly easy to play, even up in the high positions on all four strings. @tacs222 When it's striking enough to ask it's almost always Bach :) It's Allemande from Bach's Partita II BWV 1004 and this guy does a very nice job playing it. That violin sounds really nice as well!
