recording from 7th october 2010 with Birgit Heydel, violin and Hans-André Stamm, piano in the rococo Spiegelsaal of Schloss Morsbroich in Leverkusen, Germany on the occasion of a book presentation of the local Zonta club.
Birgit, who also plays in the Irish folk-rock band „Irish Stew", performs this piece in an Irish fiddle style using the typical upbeat slurs and ornamention with cuts and rolls.
The piece is written in a 5/4 metre and also exists in an original version for organ solo, a version for flute and piano/organ, published by Eufonia-Edition Kathrin Stamm.
It is dedicated to the Belgian organist and singer Danielle E. Piana in Brussels.
