The metagame is what's going on 'outside the box' - the subtle 'higher laws' that are governing the interaction. We're taking it to mean the bigger picture, essentially.

You won't always be fortunate enough to be the first guy to open the hottest girl in the room - likely she's been approached a bunch of times already that night. What's going to set you aside from the other guys?

Answer: fight dirty.

The metagame is not a friendly way of playing. It involves using all necessary information in order to acheive the goal of getting the girl you want. Don't do this to your guys friends or wings.

Step one, is to stop seeing your target as one hot girl, and start looking at the room more generally, and seeking the best plan of attack based on as much of the room as possible.

Let's say we have a 2 set of stunning girls, who almost every guy in the venue has tried to hit on. Whatever their style, most will go in, get blown out. The girls are starting to think they might prefer being just left alone. How do we break in?

Look at the bigger picture. Here's one popular form: open a set by the side of the group, and then merge the sets together, so it doesn't look like a pickup, it just looks like you're the friendly interesting guy.

If they're close, and it's a big group, I'll vibe with the first group, then go around and introduce myself to everyone, and then to the targets. There's be a moment of awkwardness, as they explain they're not part of the group, but then you can laugh it off, and introduce yourself anyway.

Nothing too ground breaking so far, but: we looked at the room as a way of getting in to the set, rather than just focussing on the set.

But what if some guy is in the set and doing well? You could go in and try and blow him out, but, it's risky, and it can be hard, especially if the guy's naturally cool.

What we need is another way of playing to knock them out before they've even started.

I've been teaching the core principles of pickup as: comfort, attraction, and seduction. These are well known. What if we could mess with these for the guys in set, without them even knowing?

As before, we'll build up social proof in the room by opening an adjacent set. Then we can lean over to the hot girls, and casually remark: "look like you guys have got a sure thing with him!"

I've used this sooo many times, and the response is always the same:

Girl: "Sorry, what?"
You: "The dude there, It looks like you've tagged yourself a new boyfriend"

You've just thrown a spanner in the works by making him look completely available. It's tragic, but it's effective.

And you've also done a great warm approach on the girl, and you can use call-back humour to reinforce - wink at her with the guy, give her the thumbs up, or any other 'girl signals'. Very little work for you, but you'll be warming her up the entire time, as you'll find out when you go in for the kill a little later.

@MegaPhoenixBird get of the dudes dick if ur stupid enough to pay hardcore money without atleast knowing if the guys method works beforehand( like an experiment) then you deserve to get scummed. the truth is someone can tell you how somthing is done they cant do it for you if his advice didnt work for you thts because you suck. dude is not a miracle worker but you can get good advice from anywhere. so dont ruin it for the rest of us.
