Beautifully sung, and slower than most anyone since Callas! I like the color of Marton's voice and if her diction is non-native, that does not bother me. Scott and Tebaldi sang it beautifully in their native language.

En 2004 tuve la suerte de escuchar a Eva Marton cantando esta aria en el Centro Cultural de Terrassa, Catalunya y fue una experiencia inolvidable. La presencia escénica y la interpretación de la señora Marton conmovieron al público como sólo las grandes pueden hacerlo. Brava Marton!

VivaTebaldi darling, don't you reasonably think that these comparisons are above all pointless? And if you say "Tebaldi is better" and I say "Marton is better", do we really say something critically interesting? On the italian bite it's about the same: she's got the hungarian bite. So? Some like pasta, some goulash... Let's just enjoy a beautiful and touching rendition like this!
