This is one of the best southern rock songs in my opinion~ Some consider it country, some consider it rock, and hell. Some even go as far as to consider is blugrass. (shudders) But whatever it is, it's still a damn good song. Here's the lyrics for ya, hope y'all enjoy!

@GeorgeJonesFan100 No, Ricky Lee Phelps left the group to form Brother Phelps with his brother. Ricky Lee later left Brother Phelps to concentrate on family and on song writing.

So then is the lead singer from back in the late 80s the same guy who sings lead for the group today then?

Have to add, I wish the brothers hadn't left that band. That lead singer was better than later ones.

Ah yes, I recall when they broke into country. Great country rock group. Some stations wouldn't play them, said it was an insult to Bill Monroe. But they couldn't ignore this song for long, country fans LOVED it! They were the first "Motley Looking Hair Group" to appear on a country awards show.
