Agree about this version being better. The song definitely has a more "reflective" quality at this tempo, and Sarah Polley's voice adds the right depth of feeling. Also, don't miss the film it if you get the opportunity to see - the cast is superb. Indie gold.

This is my favourite song ever. The original is incomparable but this version has a very particular charm. I wish it were longer. Sarah Polley's voice has a beautifully unaffected quality.

It was recorded specifically for "The Sweet Hereafter" film; so it's on the soundtrack album. It's got some other great songs sung by Sarah on there as well. She should do a solo album.
