-

-
Good stuff freekdiver, love the scenery of new south. Makes me envious when it's cold and windy down here in Vico. Keep up the good work
-
Very nice footage. And Very nice fish, but where are the headshots?
-
try head shots so u dont destroy the meat
-
@SpearManics that is what you call a VERY lucky Long-Snout boarfish. If I saw that, he'd have a 7.5mm spear through his brain.
-
What fish is that with the black stripes that you're following?
-
Good fun clip. I laughed when I saw the diver swimming with the boarfish.

@JervisBaySpearo Thanks. Yeah I like to, I live in Wollongong so it's not too far away for me. I probably get there once every couple of months.

Nice video, how did you maneuver the camera? I got a Lumix and has been thinking of how I could mount it for spearing but is not sure how to. Might need to get a go pro.

@andreaslundindotcom I shot most of this using a Lumix FT1 with a few scenes shot with a TZ1. I have never used a gun mount, and shot all of this holding my lumix with my left hand whilst holding my speargun with my right. I have to let got of the gun to equalise and push camera buttons which can be a bit awkward and it takes a fair bit of practice not to flinch with the camera hand while pulling the trigger. Gun mounts and go pros seem like a great idea. I might invest in those myself.

awesome vid mate!!!! what camera did u use
prospearo3 1 year ago
@prospearo3 Thanks mate. The bulk of the footage is from a Panasonic Lumix FT1. It's a little still camera with HD video function. It's great, in the housing that comes with it it fits in my fin pocket. Some of the footage is from my older camera, a Panasonic Lumix TZ2. It served me well until I upgraded.
