Animals Have Feelings Too. Please read info

This is just a brief video of how I feel about animal abuse. Animals have feelings, too. They feel happy, hungry, love, etc. One feeling that animals should never have to experience is pain caused by cruelty.

Animal abuse is catagorized into 2 groups. Neglect-When an animal is not provided with the proper necessities, including food, water, shelter, & vet care. Intentional cruelty-When an animal is intentionally physically harmed. e.g. beaten, burned, struck, etc.

According to the ASPCA, in the United States, only 33 states have laws against animal cruelty, including the District of Columbia. That's not enough! Every state should have a stiff law against animal abuse/cruelty.

On average, offenders are at most, sentenced to one year in jail with a $1,000 fine. That sentence is a picnic compared to what the poor animals endure, from the pain & agony they face, to possibly death. That's not fair!

I love animals for many reasons. Many animals show us how to love. Many animals, especially dogs & horses, can serve as gentle theraputic animals for those who are physically or mentally challenged, or they can help those who are suffering from a painful illness.

As an animal lover, I'm asking you to please contact your local humane society or the police if you know, or see an animal being abused. Animals don't have a voice; they simply can't say "Please don't hurt me." An animal is helpless. We are not.

Thank you for taking the time to view my video, & I apologize if I sound angry or get a little teary eyed. This is a rather touchy subject for me, but I cannot contain my feelings for how I feel about animal cruelty. Please won't you help stop animal abuse, because just like us, animals have feelings, too.

It's nice to know that there really are people out there that care about dear animals. Most of the people that I know care, but not enough to help them. My grandparents are part of the many that don't care about them. They just don't understand the happiness that they bring into our lives.

I always swore to help end animal abuse/cruelty when I got older. I still am going to stick to that promise. I know that alone would make my dear mother happy.

Aw, my sweetie. I'm sure that your mother is already happy, knowing that you show your love & support for our precious animal friends, & I'm sure that she is smiling at you, knowing that she will always have a special, precious, & very sweet daughter like you. I love you, my sweetie.

Ah, yes! We do indeed, my darling, but those who abuse animals don't know how to love & treat our animals the way they wish to be treated, sadly. Thank you so much for showing your love & support for all our precious animal friends. Love ya loads!

♥♥ I wish all pet owners were as loving as you Angie!! ♥♥ I always wonder how a human being can do such horrible things to animals! ;( The punishment they get does not fit the crime! One year in jail and a $1,000 fine is a slap on the wrist! It's unbelievable! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! I can't believe only 33 states believe that animal abuse is a crime!??!!! I never knew this! ;( There has to be a way to change this!!

I know exactly how you feel, my sweetie. It's beyond unfair that offenders get nearly just a slap on the wrist while all those poor animals end up paying the price in the long run, from scars that they must bare for dear life, to long-term pain, even death. Because unless you are vegan, then you are a hypocrite. I hope you are vegan, cos you do seem to care about "some" animals... But what about the animals abused for dinner??
