I was a fan of the WWF from the mid-90's til around 2001, I bought what was back then the entire Wrestlemania VHS collection and to be honest, I watched them all but just for the sake of completion, I didn't like the first ones because it didn't have what compelled me in the then-current era.

One thing is to appreciate and like certain stages of certain products, another thing is to boast about how great the thing you like is, over all others. Fans will be fans, even if douche-fans.

Well to be honest just liking a certain portion of the history/present to some wouldn't make you a "real fan". The implication being those who always say shit like "Attitude era is the best era" or talking about the 6sided ring era being better. There's all forms of fandom, just as long as you back up your fellow fans when a douche comes along and talks shit; there's no issue about which era you like more. :3
