High School Girls Basketball: DeLaSalle vs. St. Paul Central

The first of two games from the Breakdown Tip-Off Classic at Hopkins High School's Lindbergh Center features defending St. Paul City Conference champion St. Paul Central and perennial Tri-Metro contender DeLaSalle. Mike Peden has the call for Ty Video Productions, your local sports leader!

This marks the first day of a new era for DeLaSalle as Faith Johnson Patterson and the rest of her Minneapolis North coaching staff moved from the Polars to the Islanders during the offseason

Across the river, St. Paul Central looks to rebuild with a young roster that currently doesn't have a single Division One recruit, but they are led by two-time AAAA champion Willie Taylor.

DeLaSalle would go on to a 3rd place finish in the class AAA state tournament, losing to Hill-Murray in the state semifinals.
