Like almost all digital cameras, the Nikon D300s has a complicated menu system that can be cumbersome when trying to adjust settings on-the-fly. The My Menu option allows you to save a lot of time by assigning specific functions to one, easy-to-access menu screen.

  • @ultrafeel I suspect you have discovered it by now. In the recent settings menu you will see Choose tab. Select it and you get the choice of either the Recent settings (which yours is) or My Menu, which this vid is about

  • There is no My Menu in the menu of my new d300 s! There's just a menu at the bottom which is called "Recent Setting" (it looks similar to the one here shown in the video, but doesn't have a check on it.) What the hell is going on?

  • Thank you for this video...

  • got my camera 3 months ago and just now figuring out all the menus. thanks for the visual on this.

  • thanks for this tip!!! Cool!

  • @1911blue It's a manfrotto head but am unsure the model number
