This tune may very well be an old Irish Clan march. Played on a Gibson F2 mandolin and backed up with an old George Bauer Parlor Guitar.

  • Love your version, great!

  • Stuches51, I never tire of watching and listening to you play this. I'll be 55 Dec 26th, think I'm too old to learn to play the mandolin? heh. Thanks for sharing your talent and beautiful music.

  • Thank you for sharing..its one of my favorite pieces and you do it so well!

  • You are right about it being Irish. It was written by Turlough O'Carolan as a harp tune. Nicely played. I think it sounds a bit like the Swallowtail Jig.

  • sounds amazing. you and that mandolin are made for each other. thank you for posting.

  • sounds great!

  • Great job, excellent arrangement, that Gibson F2 sounds great!, now I know why they are going for so much money these days. Looks like a real work out for the fingers.
