This is my entry to the Grant Imahara Vexplorer Robot Challenge. The entry is a two legged walking robot design.

    really slow

  • Yeah, it is slow (but is made 4ft in the vid!). This is due to the principle used to walk. The principle requires a lot of torque, as the body of the bot is being raised be pulling the two legs together. The vexplorer motors are very low torque motors, so I used a worm gear mechanism to gear the motors down, which translates to a slow robot.
