Bob the sound guy shows how to hook up front of house on a small club P.A., using a 56 channel mass connect audio snake, with a combination of in ear monitors, floor wedges, and drum subwoofer for 8 monitor mixes run from front of house.
Connect the transmitters to each of the individual AUX outs of the board. Depending on the board and transmitters, you may need either XLR (mic) cables or 1/4 inch TRS cables. You then turn up each individual AUX on each individual cahannel. It basically works the same way if you're using wedges, although the mixing technique is a little different, and you don't have outboard amps and EQ's like you do with wedges.
We're not doing w4's yet, but the CBI one that you saw in the video is totally interchangeable with the w4. I know this because I've had to do it several times to get other companies out of a jam or cross rent a disconnect.
We're a CBI direct dealer, so if you need something we can get it for you.
