@The13blooddiamond Anne was pregnant when Henry married her. She was beheaded when Elizabeth was about 2 years old. If Jane had lived, Henry would've done anything for her because she gave him a son. She would've given him more sons.

I think Henry was really in love with his first wife, Catherine. She couldn't produce any sons, she was old, and probably "displeasing"(to him) and she knew about his Mistress'. AND he didn't kill her.
But I do think, that he was in love with Jane, but only because she gave him a son. The other's were just to keep him busy and give him more sons..

Jane was Henry's favorite. Don't forget he was a widower for 3 years. That's a long mourning period especially for a lady's man like Henry.
