For all you last minute planners, a trail meal that can be bought on the way out of town yet still be prepared in under 10 minutes in camp. As always, all you need is the ability to dice cheese and boil up some water!

  • Has anyone tried using Beef Jery in ramen put the jery in with the ramen while your water is boiling let it rehydrate then add the fixings (peppered jerky is great )

  • Yes, jerky shredded up is great in ramen!

  • why does everyone use these cheap American immitation ramens?

the imported ramens are so much better.

  • While I prefer the imported Thai and Japanese ramens, they are not easy for many to find. Here in Seattle we are lucky, but not so easy in Ohio ;-)

  • Could I use one of your cozy's as an emergency hand warmer? It's totally cute!

  • Lol..yep! One guy was joking they would make great foot warmers ;-)

  • me and my friends consider ramen to me more than just food ... it's a life style.

  • @Freezerbagcooking

Ah, that's too bad. In Houston it's very easy to get Japanese/Thai ramen. I think we even have Vietnamese ramen.

  • cool video, this would be GREAT after a night of drinkin by the fire

  • @solobackpacking

probably because those versions are hard to find dumbass

  • mmm maybe cause the Dollar Store has 6 for a $1.00 and a few places have them at around .17 to .19 cents a pack .

  • Another good recipe is chili ramen noodles, canned chili, summer sausage, and cheese. It is good as is or in a flour tortilla. Oh and you only need a little of the chili seasoning that comes with the noodles.
