  • I love how people duck when they start shooting rapid fire. How many times did you hit the paper with that rapid fire burst? The clover leaf pattern was from slow fire.

Most guns are acurate right out of the box. If there was one thing that will set a pistol apart from another is the trigger pull. Sloppy trigger will lead to sloppy shots.

8 shot Wilson mag and one in the pipe will make that 9 shots for a 1911.

  • @NetNinja01 I did hit the target each time. It was on 10 meters and every shot was placed well. I'm not kind of wannabe.

  • Nice collection of pistols. Is there much difference in grip size from CZ85 Combat and your CZ97? I have an H&K USP full size that is a bit large for my hands. My Kimber Ultra CDP II is a bit small but the CZ85 Combat fits great(sounds like Godilocks and 3 bears). I am looking to get the CZ97 but do not need another pistol that is to large to shoot properly. I appreciate the consistency of how your pistols and mags are laid out.

  • From my point of view, there is almost no difference in grip size between CZ 85 and CZ 97. I've never shoot H&K USP, but If I compare Berreta 92 FS to CZ 75/85/97 in grip ergonomy, CZ is the winner.

  • do you have discoloration on your canon

my CZ 97 canon does after shooting under 500 rounds

i have to admit the canon is thin on that thing

  • This is the pistol I will be buying withing the next few months. After all my reserach and seriously looking around for a pistol. I have concluded that this is the best pistol for the price which is 874 USD.

10 round mag on a 45 APC is pretty appealing too!

  • Damn, those awesome audio! Probably the best gunshot sounds I've heard.

I've never shot a 1911, but I handled them. The CZ97B is a bit bulkier that the flatter 1911. Its not for people with small hands. I' suggest holding one first to check it out. I like the CZ's 10 round capacity vs. the 1911's 7 rounds. It has no grip safety like a 1911, which I think is redundant anyway. The CZ is very easy to break down, requiring no tools.

The CZ97B is very accurate right out of the box. You cannot blame this gun if you don't shoot good groups.
