He's been a pretty influential guitarist in Australian since the early 80's, playing in many influential bands including: The Sick Things, Venom P. Stinger, Fungus Brains, and most famously The Dirty Three. He also has released several solo albums and duo's with drummer Jim White (Dirty Three, Fungus Brains, Venom P. Stinger, Tren Brothers).
